Pop culture favourites highlight 2023/24 Victoria Symphony season

Get your tickets for the 82nd season of the Victoria Symphony! With the official 2023/24 season announced it’s safe to say there’s a remarkable year ahead for long-term performance attendees and those new to the magic that is a live orchestra.
“This season we’re marrying the beauty of a live symphony orchestra with fun experiences that are designed to delight and engage those who are new to symphony performances as well,”” says Maya Lohcham, Victoria Symphony marketing and communications director. “Welcoming younger audiences to our performances ensures the love for live symphony orchestra continues for generations to come.”
2023/2024 season details
The 2023/24 season runs through May 12, featuring 34 new and inspiring concert programs.
Later this September concert-goers can look forward to Star Trek, Star Wars, and Beyond Sept. 23 and 24, set to carry guests to galaxies far, far away with musical scores from Star Wars and Star Trek.
Catch more modern renditions of beloved pop culture icons like their Harry Potter and Literary Thrillers series Oct. 28 and 29, and their film and concert debut featuring Jurassic Park Nov. 9 and 10.
“We’re very excited to bring Jurassic Park to life this November – it’s the perfect first performance for those new to the world of live orchestra,” Lohcham says. “It will be projected in HD with a full, live symphony orchestra performing the iconic score by John Williams right below the screen. We anticipate this event to be a popular one and encourage everyone to grab their tickets early.”
