Willoughby DAYZ family event returns to Willoughby Town Centre for 7th year on Sept. 9!
From martial arts demonstrations to magic shows and prizes, there is plenty to see and do at the 7th annual Willoughby DAYZ.
Grab the kids and head to Willoughby Town Centre in Langley for the seventh annual Willoughby DAYZ Saturday, Sept. 9.
Hours of fun await from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., including face painting, family activities, prizes and more!
“We’re excited to be back for our seventh year and share our amazing, walkable community with everyone,” says Tracey Ehman, event organizer. “Willoughby Town Centre offers everything you need for day-to-day life, from banking, dining, coffee, health and wellness services, and of course shopping for all ages and occasions. Willoughby DAYZ is a great opportunity for our neighbours to leave their cars at home and take in all that Willoughby has to offer the Langley community.”
Family fun for all ages
Take in an exciting performance from the Mudo Academy of Martial Arts Demonstration team and then prepare to be amazed by Edward the Magician! There is plenty to do and see at this year’s event, from balloon twisting and face painting to glitter tattoos and crazy hair designs.
“Willoughby DAYZ is a family-friendly, all-ages event and we’ve made sure to plan lots of activities and performances to keep even our youngest shoppers entertained,” Ehman says.
Passport to win
Willoughby Town Centre’s easy walkability makes for an inviting atmosphere to enjoy the festivities. Pick up your ‘Passport,’ available starting at 11 a.m., then collect stamps at participating businesses for your chance to win! (Businesses with a FREE SPACE do not require a stamp)
“We encourage everyone to pick up their ‘passport’ at 11am on Saturday and collect stamps at our participating businesses,” Ehman says. “Once your passport is full, bring it back to enter to win one of over $3,000 worth of prizes donated by our local business community.”
Please note there’s just one passport per family and all stamps must be collected to be eligible to win.
